------------------ WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING ?
At Timeleft , we are looking for a seasoned HR Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all HR operational processes for our growing company of around 80 employees all around the world.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our organization: you'll make sure every team member — from Paris to São Paulo to NYC — has a smooth and compliant HR experience, from the day they sign to the day they leave.
1. Own and Optimize HR Operations Manage all types of contracts: French CDI, freelance, EOR (via Deel). Run payroll and benefits across multiple countries with zero room for error. Maintain and improve our HR tools (Payfit, Deel, Notion), ensuring automation, data accuracy, and security. Be the go-to person for any HR-related questions — clear, fast, reliable. Monitor labor laws (France & international) and ensure full compliance. 2. Lead Data & Compliance Reporting Own HR documentation and prepare reports that help us stay audit-ready, always. 3. Deliver a Smooth Employee Experience Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with care and precision. Support team leads to ensure every process runs like clockwork — and feels human. Contribute to retention and engagement by making HR processes feel seamless. 4. Build Relationships, Handle with Care Be a trusted partner across teams. Handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
WHAT YOU BRING 4-5+ years in HR operations in a fast-paced, international environment. Deep knowledge of French labor law and familiarity with global HR practices. Comfortable with tools like Payfit, Deel, Notion, Slack, and Excel. Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and high autonomy. Bilingual: French + English (written and spoken). A calm head and clear communication in fast-changing situations. Master’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.

We need to quickly find our new Head of People, based in Paris , who will play a crucial role in overseeing all HR and talent management aspects within our organization. You will report directly to the CEO. Your mission will include : 1. People Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute a global HR strategy aligned with Timeleft’s growth goals. Manage HR budgets, policies, and strategic initiatives to maximize employee experience. Guide the executive team on culture, workforce planning, and organizational design. 2. HR Operations Oversee and optimize HR processes, including contracts (CDI, freelance, portage salarial) and payroll. Ensure compliance with French and international labor laws, acting as the main contact for audits. Maintain and improve HR systems (HRIS) for better data management and automation. 3. Culture Development Champion company values and drive team-building initiatives like offsites and rituals. Foster belonging across remote and onsite teams through engaging cultural practices. Create structured initiatives (e.g., Wednesday dinners) to make Timeleft an inspiring workplace. 4. Organizational Growth Refine the organizational structure and anticipate future expansions. Define career levels and growth paths, ensuring clarity for employees. Balance remote and in-office collaboration to support a strong culture. 5. Talent Development Implement 1:1s, mentorship, and best-practice sharing for employee growth. Create fair promotion and salary increase processes aligned with benchmarks. Identify and nurture high-potential employees with tailored development opportunities. 6. HR Processes & Support Lead performance reviews, salary adjustments, and employee relations initiatives. Coach managers on HR policies, performance management, and conflict resolution. Liaise with legal counsel for complex global employment matters. 7. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze HR metrics (turnover, eNPS, etc.) to inform strategy and improvements. Ensure compliance reports and maintain accurate HR documentation. Track employee engagement and progress toward growth targets. 8. Talent Acquisition Lead recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent across all functions. Define and refine the hiring process to ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Collaborate with managers to forecast hiring needs and build a strong pipeline of talent. Expertise : Strong knowledge of French labor laws, payroll, and contract types. Skills : Advanced Excel/GSheets, HRIS, and project management. Languages : Fluent in English and French. HR Operations Manager
to oversee and optimize all HR operational processes for our growing company of around 80 employees all around the world.
In this role, you will ensure compliance with labor laws and international regulations, manage payroll and benefits, and collaborate with team leads to support the entire employee lifecycle. You will also serve as a key point of contact for audits and compliance matters while maintaining robust HR data accuracy and security.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations Management
• Administer various contract types (French employment contracts, freelance agreements, EOR status).
• Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
• Maintain and improve HR systems (HRIS), ensuring data quality, security, and process automation where possible.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees’ queries regarding contracts, compensation, and HR policies.
• Stay up to date with French labor laws and international employment regulations, implementing best practices accordingly.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting
• Prepare compliance reports over key HR metrics and maintain HR documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
• Handle administrative processes for onboarding and offboarding in close collaboration with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for newcomers (admin plus cultural immersion).
• Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives by ensuring all HR processes run efficiently.

Collaboration and Confidentiality
• Build strong relationships across teams to understand and proactively address HR needs.
• Manage sensitive HR matters discreetly, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Your Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least
4-5 years of experience
in HR operations in an international and fast-growing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of French labor law and familiarity with international HR practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (Payfit, Deel) and advanced Excel skills.
• Mastery of Slack use + Notion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
