    JOB DIMENSIONS This position exists up to the completion of the development phase including Project close-out. The project management and central controls teams will be based in Paris and the package teams will primarily be based in engineering and site locations in Houston, Milan, and Mozambique (Maputo & Afungi) during this phase. The budget perimeter controlled is 10 billion dollars Life of Project Cost, around 2 billion per year.
    ACTIVITIES Develop and support negotiation of contract exhibits for cost, schedule, milestone payments, progress payments, earned value measurement, change orders, and unit rates. Lead effort to determine schedule interfaces between multiple contractors and resolve schedule conflicts. Plan activities of the Project Controls Team to create and implement the appropriate work processes, practices, and procedures. Participate in the establish risk management protocols, procedures, and reports required for risk assessment and assess risk occurrence as it pertains to probability, budget and schedule impacts. Establish reporting criteria, content and format for monthly project status reports. Prepare monthly reports. Provide reports and analysis to internal and external customers on an as needed basis. Provide leadership for package document control team and activities. Review, monitor and analyze committed, expended, earned values, and forecasted costs for package against approved budget and approved changes. To coordinate / consolidate and review the various Project budgets and updates (internal and external / Annual and Multiyear) Ensure preparation of cost reports; variances, incurred, committed, budgets, and forecasted costs are explained and communicated. Ensure tracking of contingency and approved changes to project budget Monitor and analyze Project Schedules, integration, forecast Key Dates for package against approved baseline schedule and key dates. To coordinate / consolidate and review Project schedule and updates (internal and external / Annual and Multiyear) Participate in project digitalization to promote efficiencies, synergies, and simplification. Promote a culture of safety, health, environment, and Company Ethics The job holder will have to liaise actively with Project Management and related Package and Line Managers for the performance of the above duties.
    CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT In September 2019, a few months after project FID, Anadarko’s operating share (26.5%) of MozLNG Area 1 was acquired alongside several Partners from Japan, India and Thailand, and the Mozambiquan National Oil company, ENH. This is the first operated development in Mozambique.

    JOB DIMENSIONS The Service holder will coordinate the Budget & Cost Control activities for a Package of the B58 Suriname Project throughout the Project life cycle.
    ACTIVITIES The Service Supplier will participate actively in the Cost Control activities of one package (FPSO, SURF, SPS, Drilling) of B58 Suriname Project. The Service holder will advise the Project Control Manager / Lead, as needed, and support the Project in all matters regarding the Cost Control structure, Cost Control procedures, Cost Control reporting and practices using the Cost Control tools (SAP, U-COST tool or similar).     CONTEXT
    Ongoing RC Transformation project on the GrandPuits refinery in construction phase
    Site contracts in an EPCm scheme context
    General Transversal coordination
    Claim and Counterclaim Dossiers
    Minimum 15 years in EPC/EPCm type contracts claim management including at least 5 years for onshore O&G industrial projects.
    French and English languages are mandatory.
    Working on site is the preferred working scheme with potential days of teleworking occasionally.

    ACTIVITIES
    During the GALAXIE project execution on Grandpuits platform, the Claim and Counterclaim Specialist will be responsible for the contracts and claim management tasks (not exhaustive list):
    Coordinate the Claim and Counterclaim dossiers:
    Claim Preventive, Claim management and Counterclaim awareness and methods sharing with the project team
    Analysis and review of existing Contracts/Claims: provide expertise support to projects for existing Contracts/Claims and corresponding resolution (contracts execution phase / close out phase)
    Advise and direct the projects for “on the spot requests” with regards to management of claims
    Investigate and assess merit of major claim/dispute
    Provide higher understanding and recommendations for building the Claim dossiers and corresponding settlement
    Assist the project in drafting correspondences and notices to Contractors
    Perform coordination with relevant internal stakeholders e.g. HQ claim entity, HQ Project Entity, Legal...etc
    Senior contract engineer assistance tasks in relation with Claim and Counterclaim:
    Provide support for all associated contract and procurement activities
    Preparation and issuance of related Minutes of Meeting (MoM) with Contractors for meetings related to Claim topics
    Manage the administration of the associated dossiers
    Analyze and check the contractual validity of all the justifying documents provided by the Contractors
    Contribute to Negotiate Construction Contractors’ requests for compensation of extra costs presumably suffered
    Construction Contractors, prepare claims defense strategies & related documents and settle the claims
    Contribute to Prepare the amendments/Variations to the Construction Contracts for Contract Manager / Project Manager’s approval
    Preparation and update on a weekly basis of the claims status for all Contractors
    Contribute to Prepare any Letters and notifications
    Prepare slidepacks consolidating and providing status of claims
    Propose solutions and options to manage claim and counterclaim for management review and decisions
    Store the documents in the specific and dedicated area of the project SharePoint
    Contribute to Contracts/Claims REX/Lessons Learnt consolidation.
    Preparing main lessons learnt dossier
